Nomination of Candidates for the IFSW Executive Committee (Document 11 April 2002)
To: Member Organisations of the International Federation of Social Workers
From: Eugenia Repetur Moreno, Elections Officer
Ottawa, April 11, 2002
The International Federation of Social Workers will hold its next General Meeting in Geneva, Switzerland July 10 - 12, 2002, at which Officers and Members-at-large of the Executive Committee for the next term will be elected.
Further to my notice of January 10, 2002, I now invite your Organisation to nominate candidates as Officers and Members-at-large of the Executive Committee. These nominations should be in accordance with the proposed changes to the Constitution contained in the paper "Proposed constitutional change for IFSW" dated March 14, 2002.
Nominations should be made on the assumption that the following proposals are accepted by the General Meeting:
Please send a short Curriculum Vitae for your nominee (maximum two pages) if the person is nominated for the first time, and an equally short up-dated C.V. for candidates for re-election, and, in any case, a confirmation of their acceptance of the nomination.
I enclose one sheet indicating the previous and present status of sitting Officers and Members-at-large of the Executive Committee.
Please reply at your earliest convenience to my address indicated below, but, in any case, not later than May 13, 2002 in conformity with Article 15 in the IFSW Constitution, which you should study carefully. Please note that you can only nominate candidates from your own association.
Thanking for your co-operation and prompt action.
Yours sincerely,
Eugenia Repetur Moreno, S.W, M S.W. (Equiv.)
