The IFSW General Meeting 2004 took place place 29 Sept. - 1 Oct. in Adelaide, Australia.

The meeting will start Wednesday 29 September at 2.00 p.m. (14.00 hrs) and last until Friday 1 October at 5.00 p.m. (17.00 hrs).

ORIENTATION SESSION
A special Orientation Session on the General Meeting (intended mainly for new delegates) will take place Wednesday 29 September from 10:00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. This meeting also takes place at:

PRESS CONFERENCE
A Press Conference for the Social Work Press is scheduled for Wednesday 29 September between 12:00 p.m. and 12.45 p.m.
DEADLINES
  • Member organisations must send in their proposals for Constitutional changes, if any, not later than Thursday 17 June 2004
  • Notice and preliminary agenda; proposed amendments to the IFSW Constitution will be sent out not later than Friday 2 July 2004
  • Draft agenda with all accompanying documentationwill be sent out not later than Friday 20 August 2004
  • Invitation from the Elections Officer to nominate candidates for the Executive Committee will be sent out not later than Thursday 3 June 2004
  • Elections Officer submits the nomination and the curricula vitae to the Secretary General not later than Friday 20 August 2004
  • List of nominations and curricula vitae will be sent out not later than Tuesday 31 August 2004
