SUMMARY:Asia-Pacific region pre-conference workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Asia-Pacific region invites all social workers to a pre-conference workshop. This is to share\, reflect and contribute to the experiences as well as education on DISASTER PREPAREDNESS\, MITIGATION & REHABILITATION – SOCIAL WORK PERSPECTIVE. \nThe region countries have witnessed many disasters in the last decade. Earthquakes\, typhoons\, floods and fires have been ‘natural’ disasters that have regularly impacted many countries. We also have experienced ‘manmade’ disasters including social and political conflicts that have caused distress in the affected communities.
