IFSW Asia Pacific is looking for up to 3 IFSW Regional Representatives to the UN Office in Bangkok, (can based in any part of the Asia Pacific Region).
All positions are volunteer positions. The overarching objective of IFSW representations to the UN is to represent a social work perspective to the UN and the UN Agencies and to work towards joint action based on social work principles.
Representatives are requested to focus on one or two themes (such as social protection and health for example) that are relevant for global social work and coordinated within the Commission.
The IFSW Asia Pacific UN Commission has members from Australia, India, Iran and Thailand and we are looking to increase regional representation in the team. We encourage individuals to apply from outside of these countries and who have experience in policy and advocacy.
