Ana Lima, Regional President of IFSW Europe, spoke at a conference held at the University of Pisa on the future of social work, emphasising social rights, which was part of the World Social Work Day 2018 initiatives. The international workshop titled “Assistenti Sociali in Temp di cambiamento. Percorsi formative e sviluppo professionale” (Social Workers in Times of Change. Training Courses and Professional Development), was also attended by Guy Shennan, chair of BASW, from UK, and member of IFSW. They brought to the table activities, practices, and contributions around training in Social Work from a European perspective.
