I am very much looking forward to working with the team of world class social work educators at Durham who over many years have made such major contributions to the profession. This collaboration will enable more opportunities to develop stronger practitioner links with research, and to build-on the international strategic connections between IFSW structures and academic communities. It will be such a pleasure to be supporting the internationally focused students, advising on research projects/opportunities and being able to co-contribute to the vision of Durham University’s Social Work Programme. I am certain that these exposures will also assist me in better fulfilling my role within IFSW ”.
