
The Indian Society of Professional Social Work (ISPSW), in partnership with Bengaluru City University, hosted its National Conference on 30–31 July 2025 in Bengaluru under the theme “Digital India and Sustainable Social Work Practice.”
Sriganesh M V, Treasurer of the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW), inaugurated the event, underscoring the growing significance of digital technologies in enhancing social work impact across India. IFSW President Joachim Mumba addressed the gathering through a video message, applauding the organisers and reaffirming the Federation’s commitment to building inclusive societies in line with global goals of equity and access.
The conference brought together leading scholars, practitioners, and students to explore the interface of digital innovation and sustainable social work, with vibrant discussions on mental health, child protection, digital HR, and strategic social impact.
