As the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the Jewish New Year, draws near it is common to reflect on the past year and look towards the beginning of a new year. Even if this is not a religious occasion for you, in the the north, fall and its association with the beginning of school make many people think about beginnings and in the south spring and what the coming months will bring. Rosh Hashanah begins tomorrow at sundown, Wednesday, September 8 and continues through sundown, Friday, September 10.
