LSDA activities:

1. Seeks to increase the prestige of the social work profession in society.
2. Participates in the process of social policy making.
3. Encourages active cooperation between social workers and other professionals in order to solve social problems.

5. Promotes international cooperation.
6. Promotes the exchange of knowledge and dissemination of methodological assistance between institutions.
7. Represents social work practitioners in the policy field and in the media.
8. Forms the image of the social work profession and the social worker as a professional in society.
