SWAZ is a professional body of Social Workers in Zambia that aspires to promote and protect the interest of social work profession in Zambia. SWAZ exits to benefit both its members as well as the clientele receiving social work services who includes communities, groups, families and individuals. Among these benefits and services include; endeavouring to encourage professionals to subscribe to and uphold professional ethical principles and values to ensure quality of service delivery and contribute to good standards of practice. The association also conducts continuing profession development activities which primarily benefit our members but also the clients being served by our members. The Association also organises both local and international conferences.
