Dear IFSW Members for the European Region
Salome Namicheishvili has stood down from position of IFSW European Vice President, consequently we are now seeking nominations for a person to fulfil the remainder of her elected term until the 2018 General Meeting. (Nominees must note that the successful candidate will be required to attend the global Executive meeting in Basel, Switzerland between the 6th and 10 July 2017).

The Nomination Process
Please note that nominations need to comply fully with the IFSW Bylaws and must include the following documentation:
1 Signed and dated Profile and Curriculum Vitae of the Nominee of a maximum of five (5) pages
2 Letter of support from the nominating association, signed by the President and one other person of the executive on an association letterhead
3 Proof of a motion supporting the nomination carried by the national association.

Timeframes
Nominations must be received no later than 21st April 2017.
All nominations will be processed by the IFSW Nominations Committee. The Nominations Committee has the constitutional role to review all nominations to ensure that the documentation is complete and in order and that the nominee can demonstrate the capacity to fulfil the role as specified in the role description. A final list of nominees who meet the above criteria will be sent to all IFSW European Members on the 12th May 2017, along with the voting procedures.
Voting will be conducted by postal ballot and conclude on the 16th June 2017. An announcement will then be made by the IFSW Elections Officer, David Jones.
