IFSW member the Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers (ANZASW) announces that a historic milestone for social work has been reached with the upgrading of the Social Workers Registration Legislation. The new legislation is a result of many years of work by ANZASW and others to ensure that all social workers are fully recognised by the law and that people us use social work services can have confidence that they will be supported by professional social workers that have the right qualifications, experience and competence.
