International Social Work is a peer reviewed journal designed to extend knowledge and promote communication in the fields of social development, social welfare and human services. Its major focus is on international themes in the delivery of services, the functions of social work professionals and the education of social workers.
Abstracts of articles are translated into French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic.
Applications are invited for English to French Translators. We are seeking to make 1 appointment. A good knowledge of English, French and social work terminology is essential. The role would involve translating approximately 10-15 abstracts twice a year.
Translators receive a printed copy of each issue of the journal, and have their names listed on the journal homepage and journal inside front cover. This role is otherwise unpaid.
