The World Conference on Social Work and Social Development was held in Stockholm, Sweden on 8 – 12 July 2012. Around 2,500 social workers, social work educators and social development professionals attended the highly successful event.

The conference and the three global organisations responsible demonstrated unanimous support for continuation of the process supporting The Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development. Work will continue to implement the commitments and to support ‘action and impact’, the theme of the conference.
