IFSW is delighted to announce the winner of the 2017 World Social Work Day Poster.
More than 400 submissions were received from many places in the world. Submissions had to include the 2017 Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development theme: ‘Promoting Community and Environment Sustainability’ and use an engaging image.
The winner is Martha Rothblum, the Creative Arts Manager at the National Association of Social Workers in the US. She has worked with NASW since 2002 and is responsible for designing all of the print materials and maintaining NASW’s brand identity.
Ruth Stark, IFSW President commented: “We congratulate and thank Martha Rothblum for her wonderful contribution to the profession. The image she has creatively designed will be an icon of social work in 2017”. Ruth Stark also expressed her thanks to all the people who submitted their designs; “This is evidence of the worldwide commitment and interest in making World Social Work Day as visible as possible”, she said.
