Artificial Intelligence is becoming part of social welfare, humanitarian protection, and community services. But what does this mean for social workers?

Can we use AI without compromising human dignity, confidentiality, and professional values? How can social workers make sense of a technology that is changing so quickly? And how can we make sure AI responds to the needs and realities of the communities we serve?

Join us for a cross-country conversation on AI literacy and ethics in social work, bringing together perspectives from Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the United States.

Badillo-Diaz, LCSW, Professor at New York University and Founder of The AI Social Worker, alongside Dr. Fauzik Lendriyono, M.Si., Dean, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Mr. Gnim Channarith, Head of the Social Work Department at Saint Paul Institute Cambodia, and Dr. Nhung Thi Le, Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean of the Social Work Faculty at The University of Labour and Social Affairs Vietnam.
