_____________________________________________________

Join us in this free webinar organised by the International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) Europe Human Rights Network to mark Human Rights Day 2023 and the role of social workers in upholding human and social rights in contemporary context.

This year is also the 75th anniversary of the UN Universal Declaration on Human Rights which is embedded in the values and ethics of social work worldwide.

Anti-human rights rhetoric in politics and policies is on the rise in Europe. This webinar will present examples of how social workers continue to uphold and advocate for rights in direct practice, activism, policy and lobbying, and in the education of new social workers. Participants will be able to join in the discussion, pose questions and share their experiences.

The webinar will be opened by IFSW President Ana Radulescu
