The United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), in collaboration with IFSW, co-hosted the 2022 global summit Co-building a New Eco-Social World: Leaving No One Behind. This collaboration led to the creation of the People’s Charter, a powerful declaration of shared priorities and values, amplifying the voices of social workers and communities worldwide.
As we approach the Second World Summit for Social Development, UNRISD is once again calling on social workers to share their insights on today’s most pressing social challenges. What are the top three social issues demanding urgent attention? What are your key asks for global leaders gathering in Qatar this November? Your contributions will help shape the political declaration and action plan that emerge from the Summit.
📅 Submission Deadline: Extended to 3 February 2025
