The Social Work Vigilance Committee CVTS (Comité Vigilance Travail Social) is a de facto association created in 2003 that brings together social workers, social assistants and others, as well as social work organizations, which set itself the following objectives:
- Fight against the instrumentalization of social work for security or repressive purposes
- Maintain the conditions for practicing social work
- Participate in the continuing education of social workers regarding ethics and professional conduct
- Reintegrate ethics into social work practices
- Recall the centrality of the relationship of trust between the social worker and the service user
- Mobilize social workers to build a favorable balance of power
- Bring attention to abuses to the political level / Report slide towards political agendas
