The IFSW and NGO Committee Host Side Event on Financing Health & Resilience in Conflict
The NGO Committee on Financing for Development is hosting a hybrid side event, “Financing People’s Health and Resilience in Conflict: Learning from the Frontlines,” on April 22, 2026. This event examines how the Seville Outcome Document can mobilize effective climate and development finance for communities facing the combined pressures of conflict and climate vulnerability.
With a focus on practical approaches grounded in frontline experience, the discussion will cover key areas including Seville commitments and implementation pathways; financing health and resilience in conflict-affected settings; and local leadership, accountability, and partnership. The event is co-organized with several partners, including the PEAC Institute, VIVAT International, IBVM/CJ, Maryknoll Sisters, and the Temple of Understanding.
