The International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) contributed to the 2026 AI for Developing Countries Forum Geneva Summit, held at the United Nations Office at Geneva from 12–14 August. The Forum brought together governments, international organisations, technology experts, researchers and civil society to consider a question that is rapidly becoming central to social and economic development: who will shape artificial intelligence (AI), and who will benefit from it?![]()
