🕊️ Building peace across generations starts with listening to young people and ensuring their voices shape the decisions that affect their futures.🌍 IFSW welcomes the Call by Young People for a New Culture of Peace, bringing together the perspectives of 145 young leaders from 135 countries.✊ The Call urges institutions to move beyond symbolic participation and share decision-making power with young people, addressing the inequalities, discrimination, displacement and ecological crises that undermine peace.🤝 Social workers have a vital role to play in supporting youth-led initiatives, challenging exclusion and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to influence policies and services.💬 Because lasting peace can only be built with and by young people.#YouthParticipation #CultureofPeace #socialwork #humanrights #EcoSocialWorld
